Naturally Mediterranean
The vegetable gardens first put in place by Lady Strickland in the 1920s now yield the most delicious Mediterranean produce, while our fruit and citrus trees also harvest delicious lemons, oranges and other fruits.
We go to great efforts to avoid pesticides at all costs and only use natural fertilisers, which make our fruit and veg extra tasty.
So why not try some on your next trip to Villa Bologna? Although our output is small, vegetable boxes are available for purchase through our gift shop. Occasionally we also sell our own homemade jams, marmalades and lemon curd and, in the future, hope to retail organic produce from other growers too.
